Chance to make amends for Ascot

STONEFIELD Flyer was just denied at Royal Ascot, but can gain a degree of solace at Haydock.

A solid five-runner ensemble has been lured to the table for the Bohle British Stallion Studs EBF Novice Stakes, but Stonefield Flyer has a little less weight than three of his rivals on Merseyside and is undeniably the stand-out entry.Trained in South Lanarkshire by Keith Dalgleish, the Kheleyf colt has already been an outstanding servant for the rookie handler.HOPE Roger CharltonExcavator should also be given another chance in the Float Glass Industries Maiden Auction Stakes.Roger Charlton's alreadygelded two-year-old showed great potential on his debut at Bath before being sent off the odds-on favourite at Kempton. But, after having made the running, Excavator could only finish a neck second to Mitie Mouse. He is already a winner at a higher level than this, when successful in a six-furlong heritage handicap last June, and unsurprisingly has bags of toe for a son of Firebreak. So much so that Dalgleish threw him in at the deepest of ends in the Windsor Castle Stakes following secondplaced finishes behind Lily's Angel and Hamza.Fireback, meanwhile, can capitalise on a pleasing display at Epsom last time when he returns to Surrey for the Try totequickpick On All totepool Bets Handicap.Even in concession of weight all round, Excavator should be much wiser and sharper for his Kempton experience.CAPTION(S):Always close to the pace, he ran superbly for a long way at Ascot before eventually succumbing to Frederick Engels, who looks a certain Pattern-race performer.Suitably revved up following a pipe-opener at Newmarket in May, Fireback impressed over this course and distance three weeks ago with a staying-on third behind Tajneed and Swiss Cross.

BLAYDON duly romped to the title; WELLSTREAM NTSL UNDER-18 DIVISION

BLAYDON duly romped to the title after beating Consett by nine wickets in a one-sided encounter.

With Kieran Milburn bagging 3-17, Lintz could only make 92-4. Joe Gibson (26no) and Adam Pearson (26no) then saw Bridge safely home.Jamie Wightman (30) and Liam Clarke (28no) then took their team to victory on the first ball of the 13th over. Blaydon's championship win came after 11 straight victories and confirmed their stranglehold on the title - this latest success was the fifth year in a row they have dominated.SEAHAM Harbour were in freeflowing form in the 3D Durham Coast League Under-18 Division, racking up 143-4 against visiting Bill Quay.Their batsmen were given a hard time by the Ryton attack and at one time Sacriston slumped to 35-6. However, Peter Scaife (23no) joined with Jack Keall (19no) in an unbroken stand of 52 as they closed on 87-6. Dean Henderson excelled for the visitors, picking up the top three batsmen for just 13 runs.Ryan Martin was the main driving force as the Harbour surged along at over seven runs an over.Lanchester defeated Swalwell by 48 runs, while Burnopfield conceded their match at Annfield Plain.Ross Nicholson (2-9) and Phil Miller (2-19) shone as Consett were bowled out for 70.Keith Winn, with 27, was the only visiting batsman to look as though he could cope with the home attack.Shotley Bridge kept up their own hopes of finishing second as they defeated Lintz by six wickets.Quay's Stuart Gray recorded outstanding figures of 3-16 despite Harbour's heavy scoring. The Ryton response quickly became a procession as Jack Hardy (5-10) and Matthew Wright (3-9) proved virtually unplayable, ripping through the visiting line-up in just 12.3 overs to leave them 40 all out.He struck 64 in double-quick time and, with useful contributions right through the order, Seaham posted a formidable target.Quay gave the run chase a good go before eventually running out of steam and wickets as they were bowled out for 126 to fall just 17 runs short.Sacriston have a good chance of finishing runners-up after a 47-run home win over Ryton confirmed their current position in the table.

Include A Southwest Table Runner For Wonderful Western Style Home Decor

A Southwest table runner is an easy way to bring out that one-of-a-kind western, rustic or Native American feel in your home decor. Because of their growing popularity, more and more home decorators are choosing to buy their southwest table runner online. Used as western accents and also southwestern accessories, in breakfast nooks or when decorating a cabin or log home with a rustic or western theme, southwestern table runners give your home character and a beautiful authentic Native American look. These table runners have a long history that has evolved over time and can truly be appreciated as great works of art.

Today, many of the modern southwest table runners are made in areas where Spanish and Native American histories joined together to create beautiful designs. Southwestern table runners, with their warm earth tone colors and unique southwestern designs make them the standard for rustic home decorating. If you are searching for great southwestern decor, you will probably purchase from American companies or directly from Native American weavers. Buying western table runners from Navajo or other American Indian tribes not only allows you the satisfaction of owning a southwest table runner that is made by Native Americans but also helps to support the Native American heritage of rug weaving, and the people who themselves sell their rugs, runners, and Native American art.Not only is a southwest table runner known for its incredible beauty, but the skill and hard work involved in making Native table runners is also very impressive. The makers of hand woven table runners must be very skilled and start the runner making process by kneeling in front of a vertical wooden-framed loom. The designs are then put into place by using a shuttle to weave different colored yarn together, making geometric characters and designs. Originally, Navajo rugs as well as those of some other Southwest Indian tribes were woven of hand spun cotton thread. However, once the wool of domestic sheep was introduced to the region by the Spanish settlers, the people primarily used wool to weave their colorful rugs, table runners and other traditional weaving. The style of table runner you choose will greatly depend on what you like and what kind of decorating you have in mind. You will find that a southwest table runner is an excellent southwestern accent when combined with rustic or western home decor. Whether you are decorating one room in your house or decorating an entire house using a rustic theme, you will come across many designs and colors available to choose from. Among these options you will find everything from Zapotec runners with no two alike, to southwest table runners with western style. Designers love hand woven wool table runners because of the rich colors and textures. Whatever your decorating style and whatever your home decor needs, you will definitely enjoy the richness of color and warmth brought to life in your home by decorating with a southwest table runner.

Ancient Olympians Followed Atkins Diet

Atkins diet was unknown 35 years ago. Though it seems that ancient people - athletes particularly - followed a strict diet which is likewise Atkins basic.

Greek Olympians followed meat-only dietMoreover, according to food historian Francine Segan, an ancient Olympic runner was put to undertake a meat-only diet. It seems that this tough exclusive diet was a must to win a competition. That works for runners. The fact that runners ate only meat started a sort of meat diet craze, pointed out the historian. Another condition to complete athletes' diet was to expel bread right before competition, eating dried figs instead. Francine Segan admitted that he discovered that while he was searching information about famous Mediteranean cuisine. In fact, we talk about Greek people who ate fruits, vegetables, a lot of fish, breads. This was a regular eating regimen for ordinary Greeks, with the amendment that fish was the most common meat eaten in that seafaring region. Quite interesting is the fact that Greek olympians had a bit different eating regimen, a meat-heavy regimen, like the low-carb Atkins's (not so refined, of course, no phases at all). The goal was to develop a lot of muscles and meat was enormously necessary. But not any Greek could daily afford meat on the table. Only upper social strata from Greece could afford it. The olympians also ate more rich-protein legumes which their bodies needed to keep a boost of energy.Strict diet and severe exercises for Ancient GreeksTheir diet was directed according to Pausanias. Those practicing heavy exercise ate pork and a particular kind of bread. Also, it seems that beef was later introduced in the ordinary diet of the athletes. Goat meat is mentioned, too, in "A Dictionary of Greek and Roman Antiquities". Meat consumption was highly encouraged, as on the Atkins diet plan. Fats, too, since pork, is a fat meat.Long before dr Atkins finished his theory about ketosis and established his famous diet, ancient people had undertaken it, without any clue at all. Not only they were eating Atkins-style, but also they were strongly practicing regular exercise, as dr Atkins now recommends. Ancient Greeks spent a lot of time educating their bodies. Gymnastic exercises were very appreciated, children were trained and directed to follow a daily training program. After years of strict diet and heavy gymnastics, Greeks finally admitted that "too much and too strict" is not good for health, because this regimen exhausted the human constitution.

Ancient preoccupation with health, diet and exercise is praiseworthy. A low-carbohydrate daily regimen, along with regular exercise are a simple and efficient scheme for losing weight and shaping the body. The ancient people knew it by trying it only. No theories, no calories, no ketosis, no debates around. Maybe they didn't need to know how it works. "Mens sana in corpore sana" worked best for them.

Largest hydropower machines in Asia

The vertical Francis turbines developed by Sulzer - Escher Wyss in Zurich using model tests have a runner diameter of 7,900 mm and a maximum runner throat diameter of 7,150 mm. They will be the largest units in Asia (440 MW at 117.35 m net head). The runners, made from stainless steel (13% Cr, 41% Ni), are to be manufactured by DBS-Escher Wyss in Canada and each shipped to Pakistan in one piece. The turbines have to operate over a very large head range (49.4 to 135.6 m net head range). At the rated net head of 117.35 m, each turbines produces 440 MW at an efficiency of at least 91%. The best efficiency is obtained at 82.3 m net head (>94.9%). The following table summarises the most important characteristics of the turbines.

Turbines 11 to 14Electricity for theAt heads higher than the rated values, the values of pressure and flow permissible for tunnel 3 limit the output per unit to 440 MW. The servomotors of the units are designed so that the flow is the maximum 425 m3/s per unit at the rated head. If all four units are not operating at the same flow, then under operating head upto 135.6 m (maximum water level in reservoir), the flow per unit could be increased above 425 m3/s, but not for all four units. Digital governers of type DTL 725 from Sulzer - Eacher Wyss control the speed by adjusting the guidevanes, subject to the pressure constraints applying for the penstock.

The generators have a unit rated output of 480 MVA and a rated voltage of 18 kV. The turbine output will be limited by the generator to 432 MW (power factor 0.9). At rated conditions, the generator efficiency is 98.72%. The rated speed is 90.9 min1 and the runaway speed 199 min1. The generators are of standard design, but with very large dimensions. They are being manufactured in Germany by a consortium made up of Siemens and ABB (led by Siemens), and will be assembled on site. The stator bore diameter is 14 m, the rotors weigh 1475 t and the stators 993 t.Vice Admiral Mansurul Haque - Chairman, PNSCDr. A. Anglica is featured in most of the books about the countrys popular folk art. Her home and workshop is at the end of an ascending rocky road which during the rainy season is often best negotiated on foot, but either way, the challenging climb is worth the effort. Shes an extraordinary raconteur who will vividly relate her complex and moving history to those interested, and proudly explain her intricate highest of quality ceramic pieces heavily influenced by indigenous legends and Mexican history. She regularly wins national folk art competitions and is honored by being asked to give workshops in the US.Now that youve begun to add personality to your interiors, and your house is feeling more like a home, your artwork needs (and wants) must be addressed. Artwork, while typically two dimensional, also encompasses sculpture in a wide range of materials. It is important to concentrate on creating a balanced mix of works. To allow greatest flexibility I try to limit myself to no more than 3 (occasionally 5) works by any given artist. Chances are that even with a diversity of taste, the works you select or own will work in harmony together. Sometimes reframing will be necessary to realize the full potential of a piece and to make it appear most effective with other artworks. On a real shoestring, you can create your own artwork. Striking fabric pieces can be readily stapled to stretchers no frame needed. Childrens artwork can be framed inexpensively and is usually better preserved than taped to a wall or stuck on the refrigerator. Antique prints can be picked up for a song at most flea markets, then frame it yourself with inexpensive frames. To augment a simple wood frame from your local discount center, glue on seashells, or dried flowers, even buttons, bits of broken china (mosaic style), or charms (available in most craft stores). Youll enjoy a one of a kind craft wonder! Create a display from these either atop a mantel, on the length of a sofa table, or patterned against a wall (photo gallery). (Note: For best effect, keep an edge straight across the top or bottom of all hung pieces, and align them either to the right or left. Be consistent in the spacing between pieces.) Again, as in collectibles, artwork of any sort should mean something to you, not just cover a spot on the wall!To design your monogram in Microsoft Word:*San Martn Tilcajete, the village known for its wooden hand-carved and brilliantly painted animals often generically referred to as alebrijes; visits to a number of workshops illustrating differences in qualities and subject matter; for those interested in collector-quality pieces, arrangements can be made to visit the workshop of arguably the best in the state, Jacobo and Mara ngeles, for a most fascinating demonstration of the utility of natural pigments for paints, the different uses of the male and female copal tree including trunk, bark and sap, the importance of Zapotec designs for symbolism, etc; if traveling with children, arrangements can be made to visit another workshop where they can select their favorite animal and paint a carving of it for a nominal feejust provide details in advance (and yes, we have a car seat for the infants and toddlers);**cochineal ranch, museum and research station where youll learn the history and importance of this tiny bug which attaches itself to its host, the nopal cactus, and when harvested and dried produces the strongest and most brilliant natural red dye known to mankindused today in dying rugs from the region and in a diversity of products such as yoghurt, Campbell soup, campari, as well as makeup and lipsticks (also a video explaining the historical importance of this Oaxacan industry from Conquest times through the mid 19th century, for North America, Europe and the Far East)A dramatic and memorable way to include your monogram is to project it onto the dance floor during the reception. As fun as this is, though, its not cheap and sometimes not easy. To project a monogram, you need to buy a custom metal plate, called a gobo. Custom gobo manufacturers are easily found online. The gobo itself usually costs over $100, but once made, you then need specific lights equipped with a pattern holder to use the gobo. Its possible that your venue, or your DJ, will be able to provide these lights or help you locate a place from which to rent them.A good starting point is the floor. Whether you have wall to wall carpeting or enjoy the beauty of hardwoods, area rugs are essential. Without anchoring your furniture groups with rugs, your pieces are merely cut adrift on a sea of flooring. Rugs help to establish seating and dining groups, while runners can define traffic patterns and serve as accents. Rugs can be any variety appropriate, including Oriental or Tibetan, border, flat-weave such as dhurrie and kilim, sisal, leather or wool scrap (a shaggy textured appearance), designed pile (an exciting line is available replicating famous works of art), and even floor cloths (a great do-it-yourself idea.) Rugs are truly art for your floor. Keep in mind the rug size. To minimize expense, an accent is exactly that, just enough to add color, interest, and a ground focal point. Rugs in a living area usually average 4x6 or 6x9, with most furnishings off the edge (except the coffee table and maybe an ottoman). Covering your floor entirely with a rug hides both the beauty of the flooring, while the rug is obscured by all the furniture. In the case of a dining table, be certain the rug is large enough that the chairs do not fall off it when pulled out. Be aware also that the pattern and scale selected compliment the upholstery and wall coverings, and be especially careful using any rug with a medallion center. It may be lost or distorted beneath a table base, or lose its impact if offset. Rugs are truly art for your floor!**16th Century church and monastery complex at Cuilapam noted for its expansiveness, and the fact that construction ceased with escalation of a dispute between The Church and the Corts family; apart from some restoration in the 1950s, there has been no important modification since the 1580s;You make it! Many brides find they can roll their own using a readily-available software program such as Microsoft Word or PowerPoint. If youre a graphic designer or have access to high-end tools, youd probably prefer Adobe Illustrator, but Word or PowerPoint are also fine. If youve played around but dont like the results, call on an arty friend. Its not hard to create your own monogrammed aisle runner, and it makes a big splash. If you have a sewing machine, you can buy and hem the fabric for next to nothing. Now you just need some fabric paint in black or your wedding colors, a pencil, an exacto knife and some cardstock. You also need to decide where you want to place the monogram. Some aisle runners feature a monogram at the bottom, where the procession begins; the top, where the couple stands; and in the middle. Some etiquette tips:The next accent most often overlooked and so simple to incorporate is plants. An interior is really not dressed until greenery is considered. Look at the corners of your rooms, in particular if they appear empty, and add a tree or perhaps a basket of mixed plants. Real or silk is not an issue, maintenance and whether you have a green thumb may be. It is wise to invest in quality silk plants, as they can last indefinitely, with occasional dusting (in many cases a spray with water to clean up, is even easier, depending on the care suggested by the source.) Plants now are available in such a myriad of species, colors, shapes, sizes, flowering or not. And, they are an invaluable way to add life (literally, if real) to an interior. Typically, a basket by the fireplace (in the summer consider a large basket in the fireplace to avoid the black hole look), a tree in the corner, perhaps a garland over the mantel, small brass potted accents in a bookcase, a bouquet on the table (sofa or coffee), are all viable ways to add greenery to a living/great room. Beyond a tree in the corner, a stunning arrangement centered on a table runner can be the focal point in the dining room (and a wonderful reflection-worthy view for that large mirror you wanted to install.) Greenery is an important part of every interior, even those with a minimalist view. It is a quick and effective way to incorporate an element of nature, keeping you in touch with the environment in some small way.*the 16th century Dominican church at Tlacochuhuaya noted for its original fresco painting on the ceiling and walls by Zapotec artists, the three surrounding courtyard chapels, its exterior carved figures including the sculpture of Saint Jerome, and the 17th century German organ on the second floor; a sundial still stands outside the church;Choose Insert -> Textbox. • Make Your House (Feel More Like) a Home

So, youve just moved in or maybe been settled for a while, and your house still doesnt feel like home. Its missing character and individuality that only the infusion of personality can bring. Your home is not your own until it tells your story. Furnishings without accessories, artwork, and accent pieces are like a cake without icing. And it is up to you to determine the flavor and decorations desired and appropriate.

This is but one aspect of the value added service we attempt to provide to all of our clients. If the bride keeps her own last name, one option is four-initial monogram (brides first, brides last, grooms last, grooms first). Or just join the couples first names with an ampersand (Jenny & Mike). While each child and his particular interests, attention span and level of patience is different, as a rule we have been extremely successful in designing and recommending routes which address the needs youngsters while at the same time ensuring that parents are able to maximize their cultural experiences. Aside from arranging special sessions in the carved animal village to which reference is made above, we have made arrangements with other village craftspeople along a couple of the routes which include enabling children to work with and paint clay figures, touch and learn about raw wool and how its transformed into rugs and other products, in addition to swim in an environment thats breathtaking for parents, and even play on a swing set at an open air restaurant so as to enable mom and dad to have a relaxing meal.**artistic hand blown glass has been a tradition in Mexico for generations; a visit to Vidrio Artesanal Xa-quixe, located only a couple of minutes from the workshop of sculptor Adolfo Cruz, truly turns this route, with Option 2, into a day in the country exploring fine art; The glass workshop produces fine decorative pieces, lamps, bottles and more, using 80% recycled glass. The Monogram Theme Wedding

Monograms are a huge trend in weddings, to the point where they feature strongly in some, and in others, provide the actual theme. And whats not to like about monograms? Theyre elegant, understated, versatile, and a dramatic visual reminder of your new life together.

Youll find them popping up in more and more places throughout the reception, and sometimes even prior to it. Here are some ways that brides include monograms:
    • embossed, stamped or printed bridal stationary
    • custom postage stamps (see www.funstamps.com)
    • stationary seals or stickersOPTION 2: instead of visiting Monte Albn as part of a full day organized tour, arrive there on your own by bus or taxi, and spend the rest of the day back in Oaxaca; you can then spend an entire day on this route and add the following, perhaps for those with particular fine arts and/or architectural interests:*if youve every been on a California or Niagara wine tour, or traveled to Scotland to sample the finest of single malt whiskies, youll be struck by the contrast in production techniques used in making Oaxacas state drink, mezcal; this lesser known cousin to tequila is made with a much purer and ancient technique using only the agave plant without any fermenting agents whatsoever, a deep in-ground pit for baking over firewood, crushing by a multi-ton stone pulled by horse, pine fermentation barrels and brick oven with a copper serpentine stillall natural and aged in oak barrels up to 8 years, with or without gusano worm, or as a sweet liqueur mixed with local exotic fruits; tastings of all varieties (full day tours high up into the mountains to see and sample from a selection of the smallest mom and pop production facilities are also available, with lunch at a quaint roadside eatery);Reference was made above to the availability of a full days activity touring the tiny mountain villages where the quaintest and most simple of mezcal factories exist. Learn to discern the taste nuances as we sample from a few facilities. Stop for comida along a secondary highway at a combined fabrica de mezcal and roadside eatery. This experience can (and certainly ought to be) combined with a trip to Hierve el Agua and perhaps a couple of the other sites of your choice along ROUTE TWO, making for probably the most real Oaxacan experiences of your entire trip.NOTE: From the perspective of trying to impart a broad range of knowledge in terms of Oaxacan society past and present, and the diversity of craft and other cultural traditions, while at the same time providing an opportunity for making purchases, the foregoing are the two most important routes. However, there is much more, as is exemplified by the following additional routes:**the church and monastery complex at Cuilapam as described in ROUTE ONE;Once you have added a collage of area rugs, and assorted bits of greenery, it is time to consider your collectibles. Now, you claim you have none, having never saved anything of any worth. I bet you do because, you see, a collection is anything beyond a pair. If you have three of anything, you have a collection, (yes, beer bottles and jelly jars count!) So, get busy checking out those musty old drawers, drafty attics, under-bed stashes, and closets of miscellanea. Collections are meant to be enjoyed, not hidden away in some dust encrusted corrugated coffin. Youll be delightfully surprised at the riches you invariably already possess, and with a dose of imagination can incorporate into your home. The only rule on collections is that they must mean something to you (not anybody else, just you!) They dont have to have any intrinsic value, but must have a story and sentimentality. You can create new collections when inspired by a particular piece or event. Try to collect in odd numbers as display is far more interesting. This also makes it easy to pick up the odd piece and avoid getting caught up in searching endlessly for flawless full sets of things. Keep in mind collections are always more effective and exciting when shown in their entirety. For example, if you had a marvelous cache of candleholders and showed them only in pairs in a hodgepodge of spots throughout the house, the visual impact would be diluted, the elegance lost. Whereas these same candleholders massed on a sumptuous damask table runner against the dining table regain their WOW. Perhaps your collection is more casual and utilitarian, such as kitchen utensils. Try displaying these in colorful crockware from Crate and Barrel or Pier 1, or arrange a basket collection above kitchen cabinets mixed with greenery. A plate collection could be displayed on a rail running the length of the kitchen or dining room or massed in a china cabinet. Even a montage of magnets can be amusingly exhibited with the help of magnetized boards (Lets Get Organized), in addition to the usual refrigerator surface. Life is far more fascinating and fun when surrounded by the pieces we cherish and admire. Let your home speak of you with the collections you show off.The most significant lesson to be gained in the personalization of your house, the transformation to a home, is that this is your place. While you can certainly listen to your friends, your mother, and, of course, your designer -- remember, your home is your own and what you want is what is truly important. The possibilities are endless!Ideas for including monograms*the homes and workshops of the Aguilar sisters whose mother first began making brightly painted clay figures at age 11, in the 1940snow a fourth generation is continuing the tradition; with the passage of time the diversity of figurines and imagery has expanded to include representations of Day of the Dead, Catholic religious themes, whimsical figures with strong sexual images, and townspeople at market and in traditional regional dressfired in the most primitive of clay brick hearths;Of course, these being modern times, some brides just include the monogram wherever and whenever they want.**on Thursdays the marketplace at Zaachila, where there is also a ruin close to the middle of town, with a tomb; the government employee at the ruin will show you photos of treasures which were removed from the tomb and taken to Mexico City where all but one piece remains locked up in storagebecause of the conflict between the archaeologists and the townspeople about what to do with the tombs contents, excavation stopped and was never completed.*the ruin at Mitla known for the Spanish destruction of pre-conquest edifices and the conquerors use of the stone in the construction of the church, the existing original painted codices on parts of what remains, the intricate stone designs forming the walls of the ruin buildings with no mortar used in construction, and the tombs; also a large open handicraft marketplace known for diversity of product and great prices; Its somewhat frowned upon to use your couples monogram before youre actually married. So, your receptions clearly a green light, but you might want to skip using it on your invites. The ceremony itself is sort of a Ms. Manners gray area. Some brides uphold the spirit (if not the letter) of the law by including the monogram in a not-so-public ceremonial spot, such as a garter, or inside the dress.© 2005 Melissa Galt**the carved wooden animal village at Arrazola (similar to San Martn Tilcajete described in ROUTE ONE);Print out your monogram and blow it up to your desired size on a copying machine. (If your aisle fabric is on the sheer side, you can now trace your monogram directly onto the fabric with pencil. Fill in with fabric paint, and youre done.) Otherwise, tape the enlarged monogram onto the cardstock and cut out the shape with an exacto knife. Trace inside your new template lightly with pencil. Fill in with fabric paint. Follow the same procedure to make your own monogrammed table runners or even chair covers.ROUTE ONE:OPTION 1: instead of visiting the foregoing after Monte Albn we can head in a different direction to visit:Now that you have some ideas for incorporating monograms in your wedding, remember the essence of elegance is restraint. Its easy to overdo monograms, so mix them up contrasting touches, such as soft and romantic floral arrangements, to warm up the monograms cool and classic feel.ROUTE FOUR:*the combined home and gallery of the late Maestro of contemporary Oaxacan art, Rodolfo Morales, and his large fresco mural in the central square (zcalo) of the town of Ocotlntheres also a museum which includes original art from the Conquest period and by the Maestro;*black pottery village of San Bartolo Coyotepec, with demonstration of the technique and its history by (usually) Don Valente Nieto, son of the late Doa Rosa who developed the method subsequently followed by other villagers; then, for those interested in unique hand-crafted jewelry pieces, for 30 years town resident Armando Lozano has been making one-of-a-kind brass pieces using attractive acid-induced accent shades in green and aquamarinehis workshop is close to Doa Rosas, and therefore well worth a brief stop; How do I get a monogram?

Now that you have some ideas for incorporating monograms in your wedding, remember the essence of elegance is restraint. Its easy to overdo monograms, so mix them up contrasting touches, such as soft and romantic floral arrangements, to warm up the monograms cool and classic feel.

Set a formal table for Thanksgiving

    Home and Garden Television

Setting a formal table for Thanksgiving is easier than you may think. Start by adding a tablecloth and runner, making sure that the tablecloth has at least a 6-inch drop on all sides and that the runner is either the same length or shorter than the tablecloth. To keep the table from becoming too crowded, simply bring dessert utensils out with that course. Bread plates go to the left of the place setting, glassware to the right. If there is more than one wineglass, arrange them in the order they will be used, outermost first. And finally, napkins can be placed either on top of the dinner plate or to the side of the plate.Contact: Data I/O Corporation Jennifer Higgins 425-867-6922 Email Contact

Fruit helps amplify a cheese's sweetness. Include dried fruits such as cranberries, dates or figs, and fresh fruits like apples, pears, apricots or melon. To pick up on cheese's salty notes, include olives, fruit chutneys, toasted nuts or cured meats such as salami or prosciutto. In choosing breads or crackers to go with your cheese, make sure the flavors won't overpower the flavors of the cheese.
